Spatial Perspectives Conference: A Successful Platform for Interdisciplinary Engagement

Thank you to all those who attended the recent Spatial Perspectives: Architecture and Literature 1850 – Present conference.

Over 110 people convened at the English Faculty at the University of Oxford on Friday 22 June 2012 to hear a broad range of interdisciplinary papers exploring the connections between architecture and literature.

There were forty-two papers in total and two exceptional keynote addresses from Professor Douglas Tallack, University of Leicester, and Deyan Sudjic, Director of the Design Museum, London.

The event proved to be a lively and engaging forum for generating ideas and debate across disciplines.

We would like to acknowledge the support of the Faculty of English Language and Literature, University of Oxford and Jesus College, University of Oxford.
